Course overview
This two-day course gives the participants practical “hands-on” knowledge on how to manage tasks and small projects.

Contents

• Formulating goals that give a result-oriented way of working
• Using Work Breakdown structures
• Having knowledge on how to organize small teams to do the job
• Using milestones and other schedules for planning
• Effective resource planning and budgeting
• Taking actions to avoid risks
• Learning from the work carried out and passing on the key learnings to others

Target Group
Current or future managers of tasks and small projects.

Methods/format
The seminar is intended for active participants and is built around short lectures, group work and discussions. The group work is based on an experimental learning “training project”.
