Soap Box Racing

Overview:

Getting to know others in a playful way, by designing, assembling and racing soap boxes. Individual strengths of team members will be highlighted which can be used in future projects.

Objectives:

  • Networking for large groups, getting to know each other
  • Experience team dynamic
  • Roles and responsibilities based on individual strengths
  • Basic project management skills
  • Fun

Approach:

Planning – defining milestones, roles and responsibilities, like team leader, designer, mechanics, driver, pusher, box team, creative director as well as a track and a racing team.

Final Assembly – completing the pre-assembled soap boxes,
decorating them creatively and getting safety approval from the safety coach.

Qualifying and racing – before the qualifying the participants vote for the best design, best driver outfit and best sound.
The winner of the final race will be awarded in a prestigious ceremony.

3-6 Hours

Number or participants: 8-30

Location:
Flat area with around 600 – 1000 qm

In the area of Schweinfurter we can provide an indoor location
in case of bad weather or in the colder seasons of the year.

Language: German or English
